Swara Bhasker tests Covid-positive, says her head is splitting, lost taste; goes into isolation with family

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has tested positive for the coronavirus and is now in self-isolation along with her family at home. The actress on Friday informed fans about her Covid symptoms which include fever, splitting headache and a loss of taste.

Bhasker took to her official Twitter account to share her Covid-positive result. The actress said that she developed Covid-19 symptoms on January 5 and immediately self-quarantined herself . Her family also went into isolation.

The 33-year-old is double vaccinated and hopes this phase will pass soon. The 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress feels grateful to be with family during this tough time.


"Been isolating and in quarantine. Symptoms include fever, a splitting headache and loss of taste. Double vaccinated so hope this passes soon. So grateful for family & to be at home. Stay safe everyone," Bhasker said.

Bhasker also informed that she is taking all the necessary precautions and has informed everyone she met in the week prior to her showing the coronavirus symptoms.

She also urged everyone who came in contact with her to get themselves tested. Bhasker asked people to double mask up as a prevention against the virus, which is spreading faster this time.

"If anyone else did come into contact with me please get yourself tested. Double mask up and stay safe you all," the actress added.


The country has been witnessing a surge in Covid-19 cases and has imposed several restrictions such as night curfew, weekend lockdowns, WFH guidelines for non essential works to curb the virus spread.

Many celebrities from the film industry have tested positive recently including singer Sonu Nigam, veteran star Prem Chopra and his wife, Arjun Kapoor and his sister, John Abraham and his wife Priya Runchal, film-producer Ekta Kapoor and more.
