Kerala, ravaged by floods, has seen an outpouring of help, from all quarters of the country. As the defence forces work round-the-clock to rescue flood-hit citizens, India Inc and Bollywood, too, have shown their generous side.

After Kamal Haasan and Shah Rukh Khan, it's the turn of Sushant Singh Rajput to do his bit for the rehabilitation of Kerala's flood victims. The 32-year-old actor on Tuesday posted an image on Instagram after having made a contribution of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.

Interestingly, Rajput made the contribution after an Instagram user, Subham Ranjan, reached out to him. Ranjan, whose Insta account is a private one, tagged the 'Kai Po Che' actor, and wrote that he wished to contribute but didn't have enough funds to do so.

The actor took up the request and also wrote that he would ensure that the funds reached directly those in need, and later posted an update.

Earlier this year in May, the actor had announced his entrepreneurial debut after having invested in Innsaei that works in R&D of innovative solutions. The Patna-born actor is an engineering dropout from Delhi Technological University.
