Rajeev Pillai delayed his wedding to support flood-hit Kerala
Richa Chadha’s ‘Shakeela’ co-star Rajeev Pillai reportedly shifted his wedding date to a later date to support flood operations in Kerala.

The Malayalam actor did so in order to rescue the people stuck in his hometown Nannoor in Kerala. Richa shared a post on Instagram expressing her admiration for her co-star who was supposed to get married four days ago. Her post read, "My friend and costar in ‘Shakeela’, Rajeev Pillai, postponed his wedding, which was to happen three days ago, in order to help out in rescue efforts in his hometown of Nannoor , Kerala. They made rafts, carried boats by road to the low lying areas, made good use of all the muscle. Bravo!"

In the picture, Pillai is seen carrying something which looks like a raft; all this to support the locals of his hometown. The ‘Thalaiva’ actor also shared a post outside of his home. He wrote, “And that behind me is the main road, next to the house... mode of transportation has changed though."

Rajeev, who was supposed to get married to an engineering student named Ajitha, has rescheduled the wedding for next month.

And it’s not just the 'Oru Muthassi Gadha’ star, many other celebrities have extended their support to flood-hit Kerala. Actors like SRK, Dhanush and Suriya have also donated to the rescue and rehabilitation operations.
