NEW DELHI: In a fresh development in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death probe, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and the actress is being questioned at the DRDO guest house.
According to a Times Now report, the actress is currently being quizzed on the events of June 8, the alleged hard disk destruction that took place on the same day and the actress' alleged drug link.

Additionally, the CBI is also probing why the Chakraborty, along with Rajput, shifted from their house in Capri Heights to the Waterstone Resort, the timeline for which remains unclear.

As far as the alleged drug link is concerned, the central agency has quizzed the actress whether she administered CBD oil (Cannabidiol) to Rajput without his consent.

According to a report in Times Now, the 28-year-old was issued summons on Friday morning. The CBI SIT (Special Investigation Team), lead by an SP-rank officer, Mukul Prasad, is questioning and examining her. The interrogation is likely to be a long one.
Earlier on Thursday, Chakraborty had claimed that her life was under threat and had asked the Mumbai Police for protection. On the same day, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) became the third central agency to join the probe into the late actor's death to investigate her alleged links to banned drugs.
So far, the ED (Enforcement Directorate) has grilled the 'Jalebi' actress twice, following an FIR registered by Rajput's father KK Singh at the Patna police station on July 25. Her father Indrajit, mother Sandhya, brother Showik, Rajput’s manager Samuel Miranda and Shruti Modi, and unknown persons have also been named in the Bihar Police FIR, and accused of cheating and abetting the actor’s suicide.
On August 19, the Supreme Court had ordered a CBI probe and dismissed Chakraborty's plea seeking transfer of the FIR from Patna to Mumbai. The CBI team had arrived in Mumbai on August 20, and has since questioned Rajput's flatmate Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj Singh and caretaker Dipesh Sawant.
