Wearing a suit makes Indian footballer Robin Singh feel like he can take on the world:

Suit code
“A three-piece suit as it makes a bold and powerful statement and that’s my motto in life. A shade of blue and white with a tan belt and shoes are my favourite combination. I think they suit me well. Also, a classic white shirt is always the right choice.”

First suit

“My first suit was a Raymond custom-made one that I wore for New Year’s. I bought it from my first salary when I played for East Bengal.”

Favourite suit
“My wedding suit is my favourite. It is also my best memory in a suit as it was a happy day. Another is a silk Tom Ford two-piece suit that I have, which is also my most expensive suit.”

Bespoke style
“I prefer to have a mix of ready-made and tailored suits in my closet. Neiman Marcus has a great collection. There’s a bespoke store in Bandra, Mumbai, that makes custom-fit pieces.”

Signature element
“A good watch, cufflinks and a tie. A suit is incomplete without them.”

Suit hack
“Make sure the suit fits your body type and you’re comfortable in it. Dry cleaning the suits and airing them from time to time is one maintenance hack that I follow.”
