SRK is not alone. Here's a list of other Indians detained at US airports
Earlier today, Shah Rukh Khan was detained at the Los Angeles airport for questioning by the US immigration department.

This is the third time in seven years that the actor has been stopped by US immigration officials at the country's airports, but he is not alone.
Here are a few other Indian VIPs who have faced trouble at US airports through the years:
1. Late A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the former Indian President was stopped at the New York JFK Airport in September 2011.

3. George Fernandes was searched at the Washington Dulles airport on an official trip to the city and again in 2003 while en route Brazil. He was the defence minister in AB Vajpayee's regime then.
4. Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, too was interrogated and searched at the Chicago airport in 2002.

5. Irrfan Khan, known to star in Hollywood movies like 'Life of Pi', 'Spiderman', 'Jurrasic Park', was also detained in the US airports twice. First at the Los Angeles airport in 2008, and then again at New York airport in 2009.

6. Hardeep Singh Puri, India's Permanent Representative to the UN, was also detained on a trip to the US during his tenure.

7. Actor John Abraham, too, was detained at the NY airport by the FBI in 2009 for having previously visited Afghanistan.

8. Even the former Ambassador to the US, Meera Shankar, was not spared. She was body-searched at the Jackson-Evers International Airport, Mississippi, in December 2010. The incident had caused a huge uproar in the diplomatic circles.8
