NEW DELHI: Actor Vicky Kaushal is a doppelgänger of Sri Lanka's skipper Dimuth Karunaratne. Well, at least the ICC thinks so.
The Cricket World Cup's official Twitter handle on Tuesday posted two pictures of Karunaratne and Kaushal, and wrote "...How much does Sri Lanka captain #DimuthKarunaratne look like @vickykaushal09".
The post attracted a lot of replies from the fans. While some shared their favourite lookalikes across industries, many were upset with the social media post.
"Get your eyes checked from a tailor mate," one Twitter user wrote.
"Only you. No one can see any resemblance," wrote another Twitter user.
Prior to this, they had shared a comparison picture of Sri Lanka's bowler Isuru Udana and France's footballer Oliver Giroud, and captioned it - "Is it just us or do you notice the resemblance? #IsuruUdana #OlivierGiroud #SLvWI | #LionsRoar | #CWC19"
Meanwhile, on the work front, the 31-year-old Kaushal is all set for the release of 'Takht', 'Bhoot Part-One-The Haunted Ship' and 'Sardar Udham Singh'.
