Sonu Nigam visits LK Advani's Delhi home. What dish did BJP leader's daughter, Pratibha, prepare for him?

Sonu Nigam recently visited veteran politician LK Advani in his home in Delhi. The singer was in Delhi to perform at Delhi Technological University's (DTU) Engifest 2025. His concert recently made news for allegedly turning unruly and violent. However, the singing sensation seemed in a dapper mood as he went on a nostalgia trip.

Taking to Instagram, the ‘Tu’ singer dropped a series of heartwarming pictures where he could be seen posing with the senior BJP leader and his daughter, Pratibha.

Sonu Nigam Shares His Connection With Advani Family

Dropping the images in a carousel post, Nigam talked in depth about his connection with the Advani family and also thanked Pratibha for serving him Sindhi food.



His emotional post read, "Roots Revisited (3/4) - 24th March, 2025. Pratibha Advani and L. K. Advani ji have been a part of my life for a very long time and that's why I decided to stay an extra day after my DTU concert to have lunch with them. Since my mother was brought up amongst Sindhis, Sindhi food has been a major part of our childhood. Pratibha knows it, and that's why she very sweetly cooked Sindhi Kadi for me besides Dal Pakvaan. Advani ji is 97. And he is as beautiful as he's always been. My loved extended family."

In the post, LK Advani can be seen enjoying Nigam’s hit song ‘Abhi Mujhme Kahin’ from the 2012 hit movie ‘Agneepath.’

Concert Gone Wrong?

Nigam’s concert hit the headlines as several reports came in of him being pelted with stones. However, the ‘Papaa Meri Jaan’ singer later clarified that no such incident took place.

In his caption, Nigam explained, "Nothing like the hurling of stones or bottles as mentioned in some media happened at DTU. There was one vape thrown by someone on stage that hit Subhankar's chest, and that's when I was informed about it."

He went on to reveal that he decided to halt the performance after this incident and asked the audience to behave or the concert would be stopped. "I paused the show and requested and reminded the collegians that the show would have to be abruptly stopped if something like that happened again. The only thing hurled on stage after that was the Pookie band. Which was really Pookie."

This was far from the first time Nigam got upset at misbehaving fans. Last month he was seen getting agitated at an unruly audience at a Kolkata concert.
