Sonam Kapoor dismisses claims she broke quarantine rules in London, says she shot Instagram video from her own garden

Actress Sonam Kapoor, who recently reached London with husband Anand Ahuja, has once again found herself in the middle of controversy.

The 'Neerja' star had, on Friday, posted a video of herself sitting in a garden, on Instagram. After seeing the video, some netizens trolled the actress for breaking quarantining rules. According to the UK government's rules, anyone entering the country needs to home quarantine for at least 14 days.

A Twitter user said the actress was "putting lives in danger & setting bad example by sharing on social media."


However, some fans came to Kapoor's defense with one pointing out that the actress was "working around her house" and citing the actress's Instagram story "where she clearly says both her and Anand are working from home" as an example.

Kapoor also took to Twitter to clear the air, saying that the video was shot in her own garden attached to her building dude and that the couple was "fully quarantining."
