Smriti Irani visits her first home in Haryana after 35 years, breaks into tears

Leaving the house you grew up in can be emotionally tormenting. And to make it worse, seeing your abode, where you took your first steps, spoke your first words, converted into a commercialized area can be heartbreaking. Recently, Indian politician and former TV actress Smriti Irani went through such an experience.

After 35 years, the actress paid visit to her first home, only to find it converted into a shop. This made the 42-year-old minister shed a few tears, a video of which was shared on social media by a her dear friend, Ekta Kapoor.



In a video, she was seen walking through her previous locality, visiting the old ration shops and relishing the street food of the area.


Smriti Irani is currently helping her director friend with the promotions of an upcoming web series named ‘Home’.
