Amidst whispers, that the three fashionista sisters would give this year’s MET Gala a miss, the Kardashian-Jenner siblings turned up at the event, and, as usual, didn’t disappoint!

Kim Kardashian Was A Vision In Pearls

Socialite Kim Kardashian was nothing short of a vision as she arrived, draped in a shimmering (and skimpy!) Schiaparelli's haute couture outfit (created by Daniel Roseberry), which she described as “dripping in pearls” to the hosts. This spectacular dress is reportedly made out of 50,000 freshwater pearls and 16,000 crystal pearls.


The mediapreneur revealed she paid homage to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld by making her look all about pearls. Aside from the pearly ensemble, Kardashian’s choker (an elaborate statement piece), earrings, and rings were also made from pearls. In an interview with Vogue, she said, “I wanted pearls. I thought, 'What is more, Karl?' You know, the iconic Chanel pearls are what I always thought of. So we wanted to just be dripping in pearls."

Kardashian’s sister, Kendall Jenner, went for a deliciously daring look at the annual fundraising event. The 27-year-old model went in for an ebony- coloured, sequinned Marc Jacobs body suit. The suit had floor-sweeping sleeves, a platinum coloured, crystal-embellished collar, and nothing on her lower half! The socialite showed off her shapely legs and curvy derriere with ease. She completed the look with a pair of high, black, star-studded boots!

Kylie Jenner Was The Lady In Red

When in doubt, just wear red. There's no better way to make a bold statement than stepping out in a crimson outfit! That’s what Kylie Jenner did. The socialite was dressed to slay in a fiery red Jean Paul Gaultier outfit - a frock with an asymmetrical neckline and thigh-high leg slit! She completed the ‘ classy vixen’ look with red heels and diamond stud earrings. Like her sisters, she kept her makeup to a minimum, letting her dress do all the heavy lifting fashion-wise.

The three sisters posed together and chatted amicably with Vogue’s representative, Lala Anthony. “To me, it’s like super emotional just because I obviously love my sisters, I love my family, and Kendall really started her modeling career with Karl and was the bride in so many of his shows,” stated Kardashian to Anthony.
