Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon & 'Fabulous Wives' trio spotted at Karwa Chauth bash at Anil Kapoor’s house
Karwa Chauth celebrations at Anil and Sunita Kapoor’s villa, was nothing short of a star-studded affair.

Each year, Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita hold a grand Karwa Chauth bash at their home.
Along with the aam junta, Bollywood celebs too celebrated Karwa Chauth, yesterday on October 13. Bollywood actresses like Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Raveena Tandon, Padmini Kolhapure, Neelam Kothari and star wives like Bhavana Panday ( Chunky Panday’s wife), Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor’s spouse) and Rima Jain assembled at Anil and Sunita Kapoor’s house in Juhu, Mumbai to attend a Karwa Chauth bash. The photos and videos from the event have already gone viral on social media.
Shetty looked resplendent in a red saree. Tandon looked like a dream in a yellow saree. The Fabulous Wives trio - Kapoor, Kothari and Panday arrived in green and pink outfits. Kolhapure and Jain were accompanied by their daughters-in-law Shaza Morani and Anissa Malhotra. Also present were members of the Dhawan family. Karuna Dhawan, wife of veteran Bollywood producer David Dhawan, arrived in a yellow ensemble. Bollywood star Varun Dhawan’s wife, Natasha Dalal was spotted arriving with her sister-in-law and Rohit Dhawan's wife Jaanvi Desai. Mohit Marwah's wife, Antara Motiwala, was also spotted in a blue outfit.
Earlier, Tandon shared pictures of her own Karwa Chauth celebrations with her fans. The ‘ Mohra’ actress took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes and snapshots of the festivities. The post also featured Shetty and Tandon showing off their mehndi hands. In the caption, she wrote, "Most of the time we all work hard and life takes over, time flies , but festive season is when you let go..Live and let Live, love , life, laugh, celebrate everyday ... that's what we all are about ..thank you @bindiyadutta6 , @nidhiduttaofficial , and my baby @siddhid11 for always being such amazing hosts."
On the work front, Shetty will next soon be seen in Rohit Shetty’s web series, ‘Indian Police Force’ along with Siddharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi.
Kapoor also took to Instagram on Thursday, to share some throwback photos of Karwa Chauth celebrations with her family and friends. In one of the photos of past Karwa Chauth celebrations, Kapoor could be seen with Shanaya Kapoor on her lap. Kapoor was decked up in a red bridal outfit. She wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, “Happy Karva Chauth ladies.” She added the hashtags ‘throwback memories’ and ‘spot the moon’ to her caption along with a range of emojis. Anil Kapoor, who is also her brother-in-law, liked the post and commented, “Nostalgia; happiness forever Maheep.” He added heart emojis to his comment. Dropping a bunch of heart emojis, his wife Sunita commented, “Love these pics.”
Aside from Anil Kapoor and his family, superstar Katrina Kaif also celebrated Karwa Chauth with her husband actor Vicky Kaushal. This was the couple’s first Karwa Chauth. Kaif shared some adorable pics from the celebrations on her Instagram handle and captioned, “"Pehla Karwa Chauth."
