Sherlyn Chopra sends Rs 75-cr notice to Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty

Actress Sherlyn Chopra on Wednesday replied to businessman Raj Kundra and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's defamation suit with a Rs 75-crore notice alleging that the couple threatened her with the underworld.

"Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty threatened me with the underworld. They now sent me a defamation notice but I will not get scared. I request the police to record my statement so that cognisance can be taken of my complaint. I have sent reply notice asking for Rs 75 crore for mental harassment," Sherlyn Chopra told news agency ANI.

Chopra also shared a copy of her notice on social media, writing, 'Here are the first & last pages of my Reply Notice, sent by my Legal Team on Oct 23, 2021 to Ripu Sudan alias Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra with reference to their Defamation Notice.'



Last week, Shetty and Kundra filed a defamation suit of Rs 50 crore against Chopra after she had filed a complaint against them for allegedly committing fraud against her and mental harassment.

Chopra had accused Kundra of sexual harassment, cheating and criminal intimidation. "I've filed a complaint to register FIR against Raj Kundra for sexual harassment, cheating & criminal intimidation," ANI quoted Chopra has saying.


Kundra was arrested on July 19 along with 11 other people on charges related to the alleged creation of pornographic films. He was granted bail on September 20 by a Mumbai Court on a surety of Rs 50,000, and walked out of the Arthur Road jail, a day later.
