Scene box office collection: Suriya, Nazriya, Naslen's Tamil movie opens strong amid Ramayana release

Suriya's highly anticipated Tamil movie Scene hits the theatres today (November 6). Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film coincides with the Diwali festivities and also stars Nazriya Nazim and Naslen in lead roles. The actress returned to Tamil cinema with this film after a 12-year hiatus. The early reactions to the movie are quite positive and now it has opened on a good note at the box office.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, Scene opened on a strong note. The film is currently running across 2,293 shows and has collected Rs 5.56 crore in India.

The Tamil version collected Rs 5.04 crore from 1,957 shows, and Telugu earned Rs 52 lakh from 336 shows. Now, the total gross collection stands at Rs 6.56 crore so far. The numbers are being updated live.




Meanwhile, Scene is also facing competition from Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana, which hit the theatres a day ago (November 5). Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the film also stars Sai Pallavi, Yash and Ravie Dubey in lead roles. According to Sacnilk.com, the film missed the century mark on opening day. It minted Rs 64.85 crore net in India (Rs 77.50 crore gross) and an estimated Rs 127.50 crore worldwide gross on its opening day (November 5, 2026).

The film failed to beat Prabhas' Adipurush and Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 opening-day collections.

Apart from Suriya, the film also stars Nazriya Nazim Fahadh in a lead role. Actors Anandraj, Lal and Raj Priyan are also part of the cast.‘Scene’ is produced by Jyotika and Suriya under the banner of Zhagaram Studios.
