Samsung has launched another variant of Galaxy S10 smartphones - its 2019 flagship. The new Galaxy S10 Lite competes in the affordable flagship market. Despite being another variant of the S10 series, the Lite flaunts a new design. This is the first smartphone from Samsung to offer the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor in India and the company is pitching it as an affordable flagship device for gamers.


Samsung is also betting big on the cameras of the S10 Lite and has added Super Steady OIS for better stability while recording videos.

The S10 Lite comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The display quality is premium and it is a delight to watch videos or play games on this phone. The device comes with a punch-hole notch featuring a 32 MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. Along with the Snapdragon 855 processor, the device is backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device supports microSD cards of up to 1TB.

As far as performance is concerned, the device’s real prowess is felt while gaming and multitasking. Users can expect to face no hiccups at all with the S10 Lite.

The device flaunts an all-glass body with a new rectangular camera module at the back. There is a triple-lens camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The image quality is decent and gets the job done. As far as video recording is concerned, the S10 Lite manages to shoot videos that easily meet social media needs.

The Galaxy S10 Lite is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. Samsung has included the 25W fast charging adapter along with USB Type-C earphones. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. The device comes in blue, white and black and runs on Samsung’s Android 10-based OneUI operating system. The overall software experience is smooth and at par with other Samsung phones.
