Samsung Galaxy A20 with HD+ Infinity-V display launched in India

The Galaxy A20 is backed by an Exynos 7884 Octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and has a 32GB internal memory.
Samsung India, on Friday, launched the fourth smartphone in its A series, the Galaxy A20. The device sports a dual rear camera with ultra-wide lens. Its 13MP primary camera promises great low-light pictures. It also comes with an 8MP selfie camera, and rear fingerprint scanner.

Targeting the trend of consuming content on smartphones, Samsung's new device comes with a 6.4” HD+ Infinity-V display combined with Super AMOLED technology for good colour reproduction.

The South Korean tech giant's internal research revealed that most users spend 158 minutes per week on social media and 206 minutes on mobile gaming. This makes a powerful battery the need of the hour. Powered by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging capability, Galaxy A20 aims to let users to play on for hours without the need for rushing to the charging point. The 15W fast charging and USB Type C connectivity charges the phone to 100% in a jiffy.

The phone is backed by an Exynos 7884 Octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and has a 32GB internal memory. It comes with the latest Android Pie abd Samsung One UI.

Samsung India's Director for Mobile Business Aditya Babbar said in a statement, “As a global technology leader, we are committed to provide meaningful innovations to our consumers. Galaxy A20 allows consumers to do more with its brilliant camera with Ultra-Wide lens and Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED technology which brings the display alive. Galaxy A20 will help Gen Z consumers capture brilliant images and videos and let them binge on their favourite content.”

The smartphone is priced at Rs 12,490 and will be available in three colour options: red, blue and black. It goes on sale on Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera House, other e-commerce websites and retail stores across the country from Wednesday.

The tech giant kept its promise and kicked-off the 'Unpacked' event with the launch of Samsung Galaxy Fold.
