Rumour has it: Xiaomi likely to launch Redmi Note 9 Pro Max with quad-rear camera tomorrow

The stage is set, the cameras are rolling and all eyes are now on Xiaomi. Come tomorrow, the Chinese electronics giant is expected to launch the much-awaited Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro. A few days ago, the smartphone-maker took to Twitter to make the announcement on the upcoming launch event.


Based on the teasers that have been released (which also feature Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh), it would be safe to speculate that in all probability Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro will be launched at the event.


Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s Global VP and Xiaomi India MD, Manu Kumar Jain, sent out a tweet, subtly hinting at the new phone launch, saying, “Of course 9 ayega. And it'll be here very soon.”

However, the rumour mills are running overtime and streets are abuzz with rumours that Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, too, might be launched at the event.

It is being speculated that Note 9 Pro Max will have top-notch hardware specification, will pack quad-rear cameras and will reportedly be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC.

Furthermore, several reliable tipsters have come forward on Twitter, speculating about the hashtags that Xiaomi could use to promote the event and the specifications of Note 9 Pro Max.



Redmi India’s tweet, asking for ‘999’ RTs also indicates launch of Note 9, Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max.

While the teasers for the upcoming event have more or less confirmed that there will indeed be Note 9 and Note 9 Pro with quad-rear camera set-up, it is advisable to take these speculations with a pinch, rather, a chunk of salt.

Rest assured, tomorrow is when we’ll know for sure what Xiaomi has been keeping under the wraps for long.
