'RRR' mania grips Japan, overjoyed fans shower Jr NTR with love

Jr NTR, who has an enviable fan following in India, was in for a big surprise. The actor witnessed a swarm of fans after his arrival in Japan. Tarak, as he is popularly known, was inundated with requests for autographs and selfies by star-struck fans. Several videos of the actor happily engaging with his Japanese fans went viral on social media. The actor also thanked his fans for watching his films and showering love on their ambitious film ‘RRR’.
One of the videos show Jr NTR walking in the lobby of a hotel where he is greeted by hundreds of fans. Some of the fans were seen clicking selfies, while some were seen in tears of excitement after they spotted the star.

The film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi and went on to gross over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Samuthirakani.
Months after its release, ‘RRR’ was recently released on Netflix, Zee5 and Disney+ Hotstar. Its OTT release added to its wider popularity with many international film-makers and actors praising the film.
