Rocket Dodge

This fun game has you piloting a rocket through our Solar System. And for some unknown reason, heat-seeking missiles are out to get you.

Your primary tactic is evasive manoeuvres but you also have automatic flares (they take time to recharge).

Gameplay is simple: tap on the left side of the screen to go left and vice versa.

We thought the low polygon graphics are quite interesting – as are the slow-motion effects that give you a few extra milliseconds to save your rocket from being blasted into space dust.

The different planets have varying difficulty and terrain and you can upgrade or buy more rockets using game coins or real money.

There are far too many ads: a perpetual banner ad, a PIP ad on the home screen and a full screen video after almost every game.

Developers Kwalee have wasted no opportunity to get you to watch video ads. They also get you to watch short video ads if you want an extra life, need an upgrade delivered immediately or if you want to open a coin box.

If you want to continue playing the game without ads, it’s a one-time in-app purchase of Rs 299.
