Warpside review: Arcade-style game with fantastic graphics, sound effects

Warpside is an arcade-style game in which you control a spaceship and complete missions.


The game starts with a basic tutorial. At the start of each mission, you have to select the type and number of weapons you want on your ship.

You have to kill all enemy units in each level. It ends with a boss fight in typical arcade fashion.

Killing enemies gives you power stones that can be used to unlock or upgrade weapons. If you collect enough power stones, you can add weapons to your ship.

The gameplay is simple: just tap in the direction you want to move. Weapons fire automatically when enemy units come near.

Special weapons can cause major damage but it takes time to power it back up. So use them wisely.

Developer Boon Entertainment has delivered fantastic graphics and sound effects. But it is a big download (almost 600MB) so use a WiFi.
