Rishi Kapoor (R) said that Ranbir forced him into an aircraft while trying to take him to New York for treatment.
Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, who left the country last year for a medical treatment in New York, has spent the past few months in the company of his wife Neetu, while enjoying frequent visits from his industry colleagues and friends.

Not just B-town, cricketers and businessmen too visited the 66-year-old in the Big Apple. While some of his friends confirmed that the '102, Not Out' actor is 'cancer-free' now, fans continue to wait for the actor's homecoming. In a recent interview to the Times of India, the 'Chandni' actor revealed details of his 10 month journey, from his son Ranbir's reaction to the diagnosis to losing his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor two days after leaving the country.

The actor revealed that it was on the sets of the movie 'Jhootha Kahin Ka' where his son and a close family associate came to the producers and explained the situation. With 'no time to react', he was soon taken to Mumbai from New Delhi where he was shooting, and from there to New York for treatment. While calling Ranbir a big support, Kapoor said that his son forced him into the aircraft and went with him.

Two days after leaving from Mumbai, Kapoor received the news of his mother's demise. Looking back at the 'traumatic' time, the actor said that his brothers stopped him from coming back as it would be 'too late' by the time he would reach.
