NEW DELHI: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor on Monday midnight shared his wishlist with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Smriti Irani, Arun Jaitley with a series of tweets after the National Democratic Alliance achieved a thumping victory in the 16th Lok Sabha elections.
Kapoor started of by suggesting the new government to work on introducing free education, medical, pension schemes in India.

The actor, who is undergoing medical treatment in New York since September last year, pointed out the most doctors and teachers in the US are Indians, and only few should not be able to avail or afford the specialised treatments in hospitals.

The 66-year-old actor also mentioned that literacy will give educated youth decent jobs, and democracy a chance. Adding to the tweet, he also wrote, "Demonetisation, cow slaughter ban, anti-secularism are no answers in my humble opinion."

Further, the '102 Not Out' actor asked the members of the new government to give this a thought to 'set examples for humanity all over', and concluded with permission to be excused for overstepping.

Filmmaker Rahul Rawail had revealed early this month on social media that Kapoor is cancer free.
Sources says that Arun Jaitley may need to go to London for further treatment for an undisclosed illness, and has now nearly ruled out any official engagement in the next government. According to a recent PTI interview, son Ranbir had said Kapoor his was recovering and in good health, and will return to Mumbai in a month or two.
