The wait is finally over! The much-awaited reality show, Rise & Fall Season 2 officially premiered on Saturday, September 26. The show featured a new set of contestants and host. This time, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has stepped in as the host for the second season, replacing Ashneer Grover, who hosted the first edition. For those who don't know, the Season 2 features 15 contestants from varied fields, including television, films, social media and more.

The show will run for 42 days and once again follow its Rulers and Workers format, where contestants have to deal with changing positions of power. Here all you need to know about the new season.

Who is the host of Rise & Fall Season 2?

Virender Sehwag is hosting the second season of Rise & Fall. The former India cricketer is making his reality television hosting debut with the show. He takes over from Ashneer Grover, who hosted the first season. Sehwag’s addition is one of the biggest changes in the new edition.

What is the Rulers vs Workers format?

The main concept of Rise & Fall revolves around power. Contestants are divided into two groups - Rulers and Workers.

The Rulers live in a more luxurious area, while the Workers stay in the basement. However, the positions are not permanent. Contestants can move between the two groups as the game progresses.

This means contestants have to think carefully about their decisions, alliances and strategies. A contestant who has power at one point can find themselves in the Worker group later in the competition.

Season 2 will follow the same basic format across its 42-day run.

Rise & Fall Season 2 premiered on September 26, 2026. The show is streaming for free on Prime Video and the MX Player Android app.

New episodes are scheduled to stream daily at 12 noon IST. The service can be accessed through supported mobile devices, Connected TVs, the Amazon Shopping App and Fire TV.

Prize money Rise & Fall Season 2?

The first season of Rise & Fall was won by television actor Arjun Bijlani. Aarush Bhola finished as the first runner-up, while Arbaz Patel was the second runner-up. According to NDTV, Bijlani won Rs 28.1 lakh in prize money at the end of the first season.
