Keerthy Suresh’s latest Tamil film, Revolver Rita, has been in the spotlight ever since it arrived in theatres on November 28, 2025. At the heart of Revolver Rita is the story of Rita, played by Keerthy Suresh, a no-nonsense young woman living in Pondicherry. Rita supports her mother, Chellamma, portrayed by Radhika Sarathkumar, and her two sisters as they navigate everyday struggles. Their simple life takes a shocking turn during a family celebration when an unexpected incident drags them into a dangerous situation involving gangsters and corrupt officials.

The chaos begins when gangster Dracula Pandian, played by Super Subbarayan, crashes a birthday party in a drunken state, leading to his accidental death. What follows is a series of tense and often darkly comic moments as Rita and her family attempt to hide the body while staying ahead of multiple threats. These include Dracula Pandian’s ruthless son Dracula Bobby, played by Sunil, his brother Cheetah, portrayed by Redin Kingsley, a corrupt police officer played by John Vijay, and rival don Reddy, essayed by Ajay Ghosh.

The film balances crime and comedy by placing an ordinary family at the centre of an extraordinary crisis. As gang wars and police pressure close in, Rita is forced to rely on her intelligence, courage and quick thinking to protect her loved ones.

Apart from Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Sarathkumar, Revolver Rita features a strong supporting cast that adds depth and humour to the story. For Keerthy, the film is significant as it follows her last Tamil outing in the 2024 drama Raghu Thatha.
