Andhra King Taluka will begin streaming on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas. The film will be available exclusively on Netflix. The streaming platform announced the release date on social media, calling the film a “fan biopic” and highlighting its unique take on stardom and fandom.



The story of Andhra King Taluka revolves around Surya, a once-celebrated film star played by Upendra. Surya is going through a difficult phase in his career, with his recent films failing to impress at the box office. Matters worsen when his landmark 100th film is pushed to the brink of cancellation after the producer backs out, leaving Surya worried about his future in the industry. For an actor whose entire identity is built around stardom, the possible shelving of this milestone project feels like the beginning of a downfall.

In a desperate attempt to save the film, Surya approaches another producer, hoping to secure a modest budget of Rs 3 crore to complete the project. Just when things seem uncertain, a surprising twist changes everything. The required amount is suddenly credited to Surya’s bank account from an unknown source. Curious and determined to uncover the truth, Surya begins investigating where the money came from.

His search leads him to Sagar, played by Ram Pothineni, the passionate president of the Andhra King Fans Association. What follows is a journey that delves into Sagar’s life, his deep-rooted admiration for Surya, and the lengths he is willing to go to for his idol. The film uses this relationship to comment on fan devotion, celebrity worship and the emotional responsibility that comes with stardom, all while maintaining a light, entertaining tone.
