The Realme 5 is on sale in India today, again. The sale began at 12 noon on Flipkart, Realme.com and the Chinese smartphone maker announced that its new device will now be on offer every Tuesday.
The Realme 5 features a 6.5-inch HD+ screen, quad rear camera setup, a 13-megapixel front shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The device comes in three variants: 3GB+32GB at Rs 9,999, 4GB+64GB at Rs 10,999 and 4GB+128GB at Rs 11,999. The device comes in two colour variants - Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple.
Those who purchase the device on Realme.com can avail 7% SuperCash of Rs 750 while paying through MobiKwik. They will also be entitled to a Jio benefits worth Rs 7,000. Flipkart customers will get a 5% instant discount while using HDFC credit card; a 5% cashback will be offered to those who buy the device using an Axis Bank credit card.
Realme 5 runs on Android 9 Pie with Color OS 6.0. It sports Corning Gorilla Glass for protection and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC processor. It boasts of a quad camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro lens, and for portraits, it sports a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Realme 5 also includes a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Other specifications included a fingerprint sensor, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

LG Electronics Inc. introduced its new flagship smartphone with a dual-screen at the tech event. Targetting the audience for foldable devices, the Korean electronics maker did its own take by adding a screen to the phone instead of working on one that folds.
The device comes with a 6.4-inch display with a waterdrop cut out and dual rear cameras. The detachable second display has a cover screen on the back to show the date and time. It runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor and has a 4,000mAh battery.
The phone is also features the company's first in-screen fingerprint recognition.
With both the screens attached, the phone weighs 326 grams, heavier than Galaxy Fold's 276 grams.

The release of the phone was originally pushed back by months over durability issues discovered by early reviewers.
