Rapper Drake pays tribute to late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, plays his hit songs during radio show

The rapper had earlier also posted on Instagram Story about the Punjabi singer after his death and wrote "RIP Moose".
Canadian rapper Drake paid a tribute to late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala on the first episode of his SiriusXM radio show 'Table for One' as he played the slain singer's hit songs on the show.
The rapper had earlier also posted on Instagram Story about the Punjabi singer after his death and wrote "RIP Moose".
According to HipHopNMore, the 'Hotline Bling' rapper played Moose Wala's singles '295', which recently found a spot on the Billboard Global 200 charts and appeared on the top three spot on YouTube's Global Music Video chart, and 'G-Sh*t' on the episode.
Moose Wala's other track 'The Last Ride' saw an upward trend on the chart as it is now listed on the sixth spot. The video has amassed over 73 million views on YouTube.
Congress leader and well-known Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29 in Punjab's Mansa district. The incident happened a day after his security was withdrawn by the state police.
Moose Wala, who learnt music during college and moved to Canada after completing his education, gained popularity for his gangster rap. His songs and the lyrics led him to make headlines, sometimes, not for positive reasons.

The 27-year-old's musical career took off when he wrote the song 'Licence', which was crooned by Ninja and released in 2016.
