Ranveer Singh is a proud husband, calls Deepika Padukone's performance in 'Gehrayaiaan' an absolute masterclass

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is mesmerised with actress-wife Deepika Padukone's performance in her recent film 'Gehrayaiaan'.

The super proud husband said that Padukone was the best in the film.

On Friday, the 36-year-old shares a picture of the couple kissing on the beach during one of their vacations.


Singh began his post with lyrics of the song 'Doobey' from 'Gehraiyaan', and showered endless praises for his actress-wife. He called her 'tour de force'.

Adding to the appreciation post, he said her performance was an 'absolute masterclass'.

"Transcendent, superlative and sublime... Such fine, nuanced and heartfelt artistry! ... at your consummate and peerless best in this one," he wrote.

The couple's cosy picture has left netizens in awe of them. Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in an intimate wedding in 2018.

On Thursday, Singh posted a grooving video with the 36-year-old actress to the song 'Beqaboo' from 'Gehraiyaan'. "All the cool kids are doing it," he wrote in the caption.

The 'Paa' star thanked him in the comments section for being her biggest cheerleader.

Beside Padukone, the film also features Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa in pivotal roles along with Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur. It explores modern-day relationships, the complex subject of infidelity, letting go and taking control of one's life path.

Jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom18 and Shakun Batra's Jouska Films, the movie is now available on Amazon Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories.
