Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar OTT release date and platform

Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar will premiere on Netflix on October 9, 2026. The film will be available to stream in Malayalam, with other language options, including Telugu, also available.

The OTT release comes less than a month after its theatrical debut. The film arrived in cinemas during the Onam season and managed to attract audiences with its investigative storyline, twists and performances. For viewers who missed the film in theatres, the Netflix release will offer an opportunity to watch Parvathy in a role that is different from many of her previous characters.

More about Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar

In Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar, Parvathy plays Aleena Abraham, a Civil Police Officer who enters the force through a compassionate appointment. Her character initially appears to be starting a relatively routine new chapter in her life.

Things change when an unexpected murder case reaches the police station where she works. What begins as an investigation soon becomes much more complicated, putting Aleena and her colleagues in a difficult situation.

The film takes the murder investigation into psychological thriller territory as questions begin to emerge around the case and the people involved. The fact that the police personnel themselves come under suspicion adds another layer to the story.

Mathew Thomas, Vijayaraghavan in key roles

Parvathy leads an ensemble cast that includes Mathew Thomas, Vijayaraghavan, Sidharth Bharathan and Unnimaya Prasad. Their performances were among the aspects praised during the film’s theatrical run.

The movie has been directed by Shahad Nilambur, with Arjun Selva of 11 Icons Film Productions backing the project. Mujeeb Majeed has composed the music.

Released on September 11, the film benefited from the festive-season audience and continued to hold its ground after its opening. Its word-of-mouth reception also helped it maintain a steady run in theatres.

Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar box office collection

Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar also recorded a notable theatrical performance for a relatively lower-budget Malayalam film. According to Sacnilk, the movie has collected around Rs 40.93 crore worldwide.

Its total includes approximately Rs 24.30 crore in India net collections, Rs 28.27 crore in India gross and Rs 12.66 crore from overseas.

The film completed three weeks in theatres on October 2. It earned around Rs 0.36 crore net on Day 21, continuing its run even after several weeks.

The majority of its domestic earnings came from Kerala, while Karnataka and Tamil Nadu contributed smaller amounts. Its steady performance eventually helped the film rank among the notable Malayalam releases of 2026.

With its theatrical run behind it, Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar is now set to reach a wider audience through Netflix. The availability of additional language options could also help the film reach viewers outside Kerala.
