Xiaomi unveils Poco F1 with 6.18 inch FHD+ full screen notched display starting at Rs 20,999

You can unlock the phone even in the dark, thanks to Infrared Face Unlock.

Days after Xiaomi announced the launch of its new sub-brand Pocophone, the company unveiled the POCO F1 in New Delhi today.

The phone comes in three variants:

6GB + 64GB - Rs 20,999

6GB + 128GB - Rs 23,999
8GB + 256GB - Rs 28,999

The special Armoured edition is priced at:

8GB + 256GB - Rs 29,999

The phone goes on sale from 12 PM, 29th August and will be exclusively available on Flipkart and mi.com.

The front camera uses pixel binning in low light to create a super sensitive super pixel.

The 12MP primary rear camera gives you best in the line pictures. Dual pixel autofocus gives you 12 million focus points for quick, precise focus. The phone allows real -time AI-photography. The AI has been specially customised for India after training the algorithm.

The special edition of the phone is made with Kevlar aramid fiber, which is the same material used in bulletproof vests.

The top of the line armoured edition with kevlar carbon fiber back (Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage) is likely to be priced at Rs 29,999.

The starting price for the 6GB/64GB version may be around Rs 22,999 and the 6GB/128GB version at around Rs 25,999.


The company also announced that e-commerce giant Flipkart will serve as the exclusive online partner for the smartphone.

The Find X was launched just a few weeks ago and India is expected to be amongst the first lot of countries to get it. The Find X has a beautiful glass body with a motorized camera module. The front has a 6.4-inch curved Amoled display (without a notch) giving it a screento-body ratio of 93%.
