Google has entered fashionably late into the True Wireless Earbuds (TWE) party. Its Pixel Buds A-series — the first TWE from the tech giant — has a lot going for it. They are lightweight and comfortable. The earbuds fit snugly, and the built-in ear wings ensure they don’t fall off easily. Its touch controls are sensitive but work without glitches. The charging case has a unique shape but fits comfortably in your pockets.

It has a matte finish that attracts smudges but will not fade easily. The Pixel Buds A offer balanced sound. The instrument separation is nicely handled, vocals are clear, and the bass packs the right amount of punch. It is hard to find a pair of TWE that does everything remarkably well, but the Pixel Buds A is up there with the best. Its call quality is also pretty good.

Though it does not offer active noise cancellation or transparency mode, it is a robust audio experience.
