Your cousins, who also run a gym chain, were arrested in a cheating case. Does having the same name affect your brand?

“I am blessed that I am born a Talwalkar. At the same time, sometimes there are certain awkward situations. Let me be frank, there is no commercial connection between the two [businesses]. People understand, but time and again they do get confused with such news. But I have no commercial connection with them. At times, I ask my customers if they’ve read the news, they say, ‘No we read the headlines.’ People do connect to us about it [the controversy], but then it’s part and parcel of the surname, so we can’t do much about it.”
