Paytm homepage gets a World Environment Day twist, Vijay Shekhar Sharma urges people to remember responsibility towards nature

He wants people to take a pledge to protect the environment.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma's Paytm said that caring for nature is necessary to care for humanity.
NEW DELHI: On World Environment Day, Paytm decided to dedicate their homepage to nature.

The e-commerce payment company on Friday shared a screenshot of the mobile-based app homepage on Twitter featuring wildlife and plants. It said that caring for nature is necessary to care for humanity.

It further mentioned that today and every day is time #ForNature.


Quoting the financial technology company's tweet, its founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma took it up on himself to inform the people to be responsible when returning to work. While nature is healing amidst lockdown, the 41-year-old entrepreneur stressed on the need for being responsible towards nature when things resume to normal.

He further urged his nearly 374K followers to take a pledge to protect the environment with UN Environment Programme.
