After entertaining audiences in theatres with its mix of romance, confusion and comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is now gearing up for its digital release. The spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh hit cinemas on May 15, 2026, with Ayushmann Khurrana leading an ensemble cast that also includes Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh. If you missed the film on the big screen, the wait to stream it from home is almost over.

Streaming details of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do

The makers have confirmed that Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will begin streaming on Netflix from July 10, 2026, exactly eight weeks after its theatrical release. The OTT premiere will give the romantic comedy a chance to reach a wider audience, especially those who could not catch it in cinemas. As with many recent Bollywood releases, the film is making its digital debut after completing its theatrical run.

Written and directed by Mudassar Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra under the banners of T-Series Films and B R Studios.

The story revolves around Prajapati Pandey, a forest department officer posted in Prayagraj. His peaceful married life takes an unexpected turn when an old friend approaches him for help with a personal matter.

What begins as a harmless favour soon snowballs into a chain of misunderstandings. As secrets pile up and assumptions take over, Prajapati finds himself struggling to explain situations that only become more complicated with time. The result is a series of comic twists built around mistaken identities, misunderstandings and family drama.

More about Pati Patni Aur Woh Do

Ayushmann Khurrana plays the lead role of Prajapati Pandey, while Wamiqa Gabbi appears as his wife Aparna, a journalist who believes her husband is hiding something from her.

Adding to the confusion is Sara Ali Khan, who plays Chanchal. She seeks Prajapati's help to elope with her boyfriend and asks him to pretend to be her partner. Although his intentions are innocent, the plan creates a domino effect of misunderstandings. Rakul Preet Singh essays the role of Nilofer, Prajapati's colleague and Aparna's friend. As suspicions grow, Nilofer also becomes caught in the web of confusion, making the already complicated situation even more chaotic.

The supporting cast includes Vijay Raaz and Tigmanshu Dhulia, who add their own comic flavour to the film. The background score has been composed by Ketan Sodha.

Unlike intense relationship dramas, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do keeps its tone light and humorous. The film relies on everyday misunderstandings, witty dialogues and relatable family situations to deliver laughs while exploring modern relationships.
