Painting California red: Priyanka Chopra celebrates Karwa Chauth with husband Nick Jonas

NEW DELHI: The 'Desi Girl' is leaving no stone unturned to enjoy Indian festivities in California.

Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to Instagram on Wednesday to share adorable pictures of her Karwa Chauth celebration with singer-husband Nick Jonas.

The 'Baywatch' star posted two pictures from her US home. In the first picture, she is seen holding a Karwa Chauth thali consisting of a diyas, kalash and sweets with a statue of Lord Shiva in the background.


The actress dressed in a simple, red sari and gold blouse, and completed her look with drop earrings, sindoor and bindi. In another picture, she can be seen curled up in her husband's arms.

The former Miss World captioned her post, "Happy Karwa Chauth to everyone celebrating. I love you Nick Jonas".

The 'Sucker' singer also posted the two pictures and wished everyone, 'Happy Karwa Chauth'. "Blessed to have my beautiful wife home," he wrote. Mrs Jonas returned home three days ago on Monday after completing her professional commitments in Europe.

Priyanka married Nick in a Christian and a Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in 2018.
