Stranger Things season 5 finale
Netflix - January 1, 2026The final chapter of Netflix’s globally loved series Stranger Things is set to arrive on January 1, 2026, marking the end of an era for fans across the world. After receiving mixed reactions to Volume 2, anticipation is high around how the story of Hawkins and the Upside Down will finally wrap up. Season 5 rolled out in parts, with four episodes premiering on November 26, followed by three episodes on Christmas. The concluding finale episode will stream on New Year’s Eve at 5:00 pm PST, which translates to a January 1, 6:30 am IST release for Indian audiences.

Netflix - January 2, 2026The Hindi courtroom drama Haq is set to make its OTT debut on Netflix on January 2, 2026. The film earned critical appreciation for the performances of Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar during its theatrical run. Directed by Suparn Verma, the film also features Sheeba Chaddha in a pivotal role. Produced by Vineet Jain, Vishal Gurnani, Juhi Parekh Mehta, and Harman Baweja under the banners of Junglee Pictures, Insomnia Films, and Baweja Studios, Haq draws inspiration from the landmark Supreme Court judgement of Mohd. Ahmed Khan v. Shah Bano Begum, which addressed matrimonial issues within Muslim households. The film will stream only in Hindi, with no Telugu version planned.

While the movie opened to weak reviews in cinemas after its December 13, 2025, release, its OTT premiere may offer it a second chance with home audiences. Written and directed by Sandeep Raj, the film stars Roshan Karthik Kanakala, Sakkshi Mhadolkar, and Bandi Saroj Kumar in important roles.
