The tiny notch and slim bezels complement the 6.4-inch AMOLED display, which offers a pleasant viewing experience with vibrant colours as well as deep blacks.
Highlight: Premium design Get it for: Rs 19,990
Oppo’s latest offering may look like any other smartphone, but a closer inspection reveals subtle design alterations.
Priced at Rs 19,990, the handset offers a slim form factor that makes it easy to operate with just one hand. The gradient colour scheme also makes the F15 look more premium than other handsets in the same price bracket.
The tiny notch and slim bezels complement the 6.4-inch AMOLED display, which offers a pleasant viewing experience with vibrant colours as well as deep blacks. Like other premium smartphones, the F15 offers an in-display fingerprint sensor which is snappy.
Another highlight is the quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera. Besides that, you get an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP mono lens. The cameras are more than enough for an average user as it manages to capture images with detail and punchy colours. The F15 has a 4000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charge and packs a 20W fast charger inside the box that should ensure that you are not stuck in an out-of-juice kind of situation.

For special needs, you get a dedicated Night mode that clicks pretty good shots in low-light. There is a macro mode for close-up shots and a bokeh (soft out-of-focus) mode that works well.
Even the 16MP selfie sensor manages to deliver more-than-satisfactory photos with plenty of details in both sunlight and indoor setups.

Oppo has offered MediaTek Helio P70 processor, which we found to be a disappointment. The lack of a powerful processor appears more glaring when compared to some of the handsets in the lower-midrange price segment.

The strengths of the F15 lie in its good viewing experience and, to some extent, in the camera output. We appreciate the F15’s subtle-yet-impressive design that that makes it perhaps the best-looking handset under Rs 20,000.
