OnePlus 7 series to launch today: Here's what to expect; how to watch livestream

The new OnePlus 7 series is officially going to be introduced as the successor to the OnePlus 6T. The OnePlus 7 series has the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7. The launch is scheduled to take place in London, New York, and Bengaluru simultaneously today.
The OnePlus 7 Pro which is being actively promoted across social media is the Chinese tech giant's first attempt at developing an ultra-premium smartphone with flagship features. There will also be a OnePlus 7 which will be a successor to the OnePlus 6T at an affordable price. Here's what you are likely to see tonight:
OnePlus 7 Pro An ultra-premium flagship phone which is being pitched as a rival to the Apple iPhone XR and Samsung Galaxy S10. The expected price will start at Rs 49,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM. A 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage that could cost close to Rs 58,000.
Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, the Oxygen OS-based on Android 9 Pie is expected to be on-board. The smartphone will offer a 90Hz Curved AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution.
Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO, has already said that the display is three times the price of other conventional displays.

On the lines of the Oppo and Vivo phones, this device will also have a pop-up selfie camera to eliminate the display notch. The smartphone will have a 30W Warp Charge from the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.
OnePlus 7 More or less similar to the OnePlus 6T, with a price tag of Rs 40,000, the OnePlus 7 will have a conventional 60Hz Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on top. It will still get the optical in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will run on Oxygen OS based on Android 9 Pie.
The OnePlus 7 will have a conventional 60Hz Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on top. The difference between the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 will be the camera setup. The OnePlus 7 will have a dual camera system, with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

The other two things expected to launch at the event are an updated OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 and a Car charger with support for Warp Charge 30.
