Pettiness isn’t a quality that you’d normally catch in a veteran, running his own venture. However, that’s just what an association president encountered recently, when a honcho refused to become a member.

Much to the incredulity of the president, the honcho has been sulking because the association refused to get involved in a contractual dispute he had with the owner of a property, where one of his stores is located.

The rumour is that the honcho, who belongs to a well-known business family, wants rent relief as his venture is struggling, not just in this property, but across the country. Ah, the small-mindedness of big businessmen.
