A decade-and-a-half ago, the Indian corporate world saw a split between two high-profile brothers. Now something similar is happening in a well-known realty clan.

The empire is already divided between the two heirs. The rumour is that one of the two sons — seen as the brain behind the business — is leaving the company.

He has been promised a sizeable chunk of the assets, but over a period of time. However, his planned exit has also resulted in a huge number of resignations at the firm.


It is something that the family, for all its wealth, cannot control. Maybe all key players need to remind themselves — going separate ways is easy, cementing relations not so.
