On April Fools' Day, Zomato claims its 10-min delivery is not a joke, says instant service will go live in Gurugram this month
The food-delivery brand shared a video clip on LinkedIn to make the announcement.

To put to rest all the speculations surrounding its decision to offer 10-minute delivery, the company has officially announced its plans on the first day of the month, which also happens to be April Fools’ Day.
The brand shared a video clip on its official LinkedIn Page that showed the reactions of people after its announcement of the service. Towards the end of the video, Zomato claimed that the service will start this month. The video ended with “Going Live in Gurugram in a few days. Instant launching soon.”
There is no way of knowing if this is Zomato's way of pranking its customer. All we have to do is wait and watch
On March 21, Zomato’s CEO Deepinder Goyal announced that the company has plans to deliver food within 10 minutes without compromising on safety or food quality. While announcing the company’s decision, Goyal also listed how the food-delivery brand is planning to accomplish its objective without causing any risk to its delivery partners.
