On 25th wedding anniversary, this CEO cleaned up Goa’s Miramar beach with family

Marking 25 years of marriage calls for celebration, and celebrate Christina Ruggiero did, just not in the conventional sense.

The CEO of Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages picked up the broom with husband Herbert and their kids to clean up Goa’s Miramar beach. The clean-up crew was joined by some company executives and the locals too.

The idea, Ruggiero revealed, came from her children, perhaps because she is “maniacal” about segregating waste at home.


“There are bins for every kind of waste,” she said. Yet, Ruggiero revealed that the anniversary did get its share of love, in the form of an intimate family dinner the same day.

Talk about being swept away in love.
