Sharing his inputs on the best way to lay-off someone, Kini says, “There is no easy or any best way to do it. Be honest and authentic and do whatever you can to soften the blow to the associate, both in terms of assistance and getting opportunities outside. Make sure that whatever you do is done with dignity and empathy.”
