Shifting to India in January may have been somewhat of a cultural shock for Fujifilm India MD Haruto Iwata, but he seems to have settled into a routine nicely, even making time for his regular reading.

“I normally read three books at the same time — one on finance or the economy, one written by a Nobel prize author and third, a cartoon or comic book.” When asked what his current favourite book was, Iwata recommended, Kaze ni fukarete.

Kaze ni fukarete cover

“It’s an impressive book of essays by a very famous Japanese writer Hiroyuki Itsuki. Kaze ni fukarete means ‘Blowing in the wind’ after the famous song by Bob Dylan. I had first come across it 30 years ago and when I read it again a few weeks ago, it was just as impressive as I remembered.”
