Smartspends: Most money management apps available today require you to manually input your expenses. This tends to become an issue with the busy lifestyle of today. The free Smartspends app ( Android only, for now) solves this issue by automatically analysing your SMS inbox for any transaction messages from your bank. The app then proceeds to automatically add those to your monthly expenses.

For recurring cash expenses, you can manually add them in the app along with the time (daily/weekly/monthly). Another unique feature of the app is called ‘Card suggest’. You add your debit/credit cards to the app and then search for the place you want to go for shopping. It will search and inform you about discounts/offers available on any of your debit/credit cards.

You can check the offers zone for personalised offers according to your spending habits. Since you never have to share any sensitive details (card passwords/PIN) there is no risk of theft .
