Once the Nothing Phone (1) users update their smartphone with Nothing OS 1.1.4, they can flip the orientation of the navigation buttons to have the back button on the right instead of the default left. Now coming to the key camera updates, users will now get a new option to add a Nothing themed watermark to the camera app. There's also improved ultra-wide camera colour calibration and increased colour consistency between main and ultra-wide sensors.
The update also added a new motion detection algorithm for improved stability when capturing moving objects. There's also increased shooting speed when using HDR in ultra-wide mode.
There's also new UI for system updates, improved Face Unlock algorithm and improved thermal performance.
The software update also fixes network issues for certain network providers. Several users were reporting issues causing incoming calls to show up as Unknown Contact. The new update fixes that bug as well.
The smartphone, which comes with a striking design coupled with extraordinary specifications, was launched in a virtual event on July 12. The Nothing phone (1) comes in three storage configurations and is offered in white and black colours.
