'Not even in Alia Bhatt's name?' Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan get turned away by a restaurant in London

The biggies of Bollywood - Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Manish Malhotra and Sara Ali Khan - are painting the town red in London. But things don't come easy to even stars. According to a video that's making the rounds on social media, the top-notch film-maker and producer Johar and Khan were turned down by a restaurant in London.

The incident is slightly funny, and not so miserable as it may sound like. In the short clip, KJo is seen speaking with the manager of the restaurant as he enquires if there's even a single table available, to which the manager shakes his head and say absolutely not, "no booking".

Though Khan and KJo were the ones present outside the restaurant, the film-maker even took Bhatt's name to check if she had made a reservation for four people.


"Any booking in the name of Alia Bhatt?" Johar asks. "No booking at the moment, sir. No booking," the manager replies.

While Johar makes a sad face as he walks away, Khan jokingly says, "Karan, there's always the first time." I think he said toodles to us, bye-bye!" Khan joked.

The 26-year-old 'Atrangi Re' actress is currently in London on work commitments. She had earlier shared a picture of London's Natural History Museum. Later, the star also shared a picture flaunting designer saree by Malhotra.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, Johar shared a new teaser for Koffee With Karan season 7. In another post, Johar was seen posing next to Malhotra and Bhatt, who is currently shooting for her Hollywood debut film 'Heart Of Stone' in London.
