No taxing times for Yash Birla after Bombay HC offers relief on I-T row

The Bombay HC turned down I-T department’s request for permission to go after Birla’s foreign assets.

There was some relief for industrialist Yash Birla last week as the Bombay High Court turned down the income tax department’s request for permission to go after Birla’s foreign assets.

Birla, however, showed no trace of taxing times. His latest posts on social media instead showed him hanging out with his posse at the gym.

He also displayed a sense of humour, captioning a picture of the vest-clad men as ‘United colours of “banyans”’.
