Saumya Tandon has recently caught the internet’s attention for her stellar performance in the film Dhurandhar, where she played Akshaye Khanna’s on-screen wife. Known widely for her role as Anita Bhabhi in the TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, Saumya has always been admired for her energetic presence and looks. But fans are now curious about how she manages to stay so fit and toned at 41, looking decades younger.

Earlier, Saumya took to Instagram to clarify a common misconception about her fitness routine. Many followers often ask her if she follows strict diets or exercises obsessively. In her post, she explained that she doesn’t believe in dieting at all. Instead, she follows a few simple daily habits that help her maintain her health and energy.

Saumya Tandon's fitness secret

1. One tablespoon ghee with turmeric and black pepper powder
One of her first habits is consuming a spoonful of ghee with turmeric and a pinch of black pepper in the morning. According to Saumya, this helps with inflammation and keeps her digestion smooth.

2. One big glass of lukewarm water with grated ginger
She also drinks a large glass of lukewarm water with grated ginger each morning, which she says is highly alkaline and beneficial for gut health.

3. No sugar honey and jaggery ever

Another key point in her routine is avoiding sugar, honey, and jaggery entirely. She admits this is a personal choice but emphasizes that cutting off these sweeteners has contributed significantly to her toned figure.

4. Protien rich diet and including nuts throughout the day
Protein is also a crucial part of her daily intake. Saumya makes sure to include protein-rich foods throughout the day, not just in the evening, which she had neglected earlier. Her protein sources include eggs, nuts like almonds, pistachios, walnuts, Brazilian nuts, and seeds such as pumpkin and sunflower seeds, which are rich in omega-3, -6, and -9 fatty acids. “Even as a vegetarian, making sure I get enough protein has made a huge difference,” she said.

5. Finish dinner before 7 pm
Finally, she emphasises the timing of dinner. Saumya ensures she finishes her last meal before 7 pm. This habit, she says, helps control bloating and supports a healthy metabolism. Health experts agree, noting that eating early allows the body to digest food properly and can prevent weight gain and digestive issues.

According to Healthline, finishing dinner before the sun goes down gives the body sufficient time to process food before bedtime, helping with overall health.
