No one knows when the first non-vegetarian meal was served on Air India flight
That debt-laden Air India has stopped serving non-vegetarian meals to its economy class passengers on its domestic flights as a cost-cutting measure is old news. So is the barrage of jokes, memes and criticism that was unleashed in the wake of the announcement.

That said, perhaps the national carrier must hasten to document the last non-vegetarian meal aboard its domestic flights. Because it's likely all information about the first non-vegetarian meal ever served is lost and at least either end of the journey deserves to be captured.

Despite several attempts to reach out to the company, there was no response pertaining to details about the first non-vegetarian meal served. And it appears that the Tata Group archives have no such information either.
